0530 this morning the motion censore on the east face of the coop went off lights came on so I guess the thing works well enough to scare critters off, then the weather alarms goes off shortly after that I think billy jean stepped on the thing, about 600 am the 2 cats decide it's play time bahhhhhh guess sleeping in is out of the question

Well in my little world of economic decision making I decided that I am keeping this four month old heifer. I really think she is very nice (500+ already plus confirmation).


Thus I had to get enough money together to buy a weanling steer for the freezer next fall. I have not named him yet, but it will be something like Tim (turn into meat). He is OK. Angus Hereford cross, though personally I prefer CharAngus they get better butts and thus more meat.

I was raised on Pillsbury cinnamon rolls every Thanksgiving and Christmas morning. In my house, I make them from scratch. The difference is big, but I admit that Pillsbury is nostalgic.

I had a course in college called "Economic Decision Making", interesting course, I recommend !
I was just sitting here thinking,....what could I do with an ipod that would make my life easier? I have a cell phone that makes & receives calls, sends & receives messages, calculates, & takes pictures. I have a GPS (2, actually) to take me across the country or across town. I have a laptop computer for everything else. Why would I want, or need, an ipod?

first of all, i have recently been babysitting a lot and i don't have a way to contact the parent unless they leave me a tablet (which a lot don't own) and then the only choice if they don't have a tablet is i have to run to the neighbors house in case of an emergency. second, and iPod can text, face-time and use the Internet for email if their even is an emergency. so basically, the only reson i need to get it is for babysitting and emergencies. oh i almost forgot, i play with a traveling basketball team and me being me, i tend to go ahead of everyone else and then they can't find me in the gyms or buildings etc. diatribe over.
There ya go; you evidently have need of one to conduct your "business" more efficiently. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on your point of view, those days are behind me.

Do I replace the batteries in my solar fence charger (electric fence) , the last set lasted three summers
or
buy a charger that plugs into the barn's circuit.
or
get rid of the chickens because the cost has gone through the roof

I just gave $50+ for 150 lb. of feed on Friday
