my oldest was outside letting chickens out in a tank top and his boxers. He didn't even bother to put shoes on... and it's muddy.

I painted mine with outdoor oops paint from Lowes. Beige and green inside to protect the wood, and help me clean. Well, that was the goal

I found 3 birds on the roost pole inside the coop when I opened up this morning. Been using that coop 2+ years now; 1st time I've ever seen a bird use it. I't's up pretty high for being in a small kit coop; I figured they'd hit their noggin when they flew up.

kristen is sour dough queen, I have her started in the freezer I am scared to screw up again!!! maybe its the waiting that is my issue

My starter is still fairly young so it's in the teen temperamental stage still. Threw a fit last week when I wanted to bake bread, didn't rise at all. I added some more mature yeast and it's shaping up fine now. It'll be perfect to use in another week with regular feeding, some say only to use after 21 days but my experience is two to three weeks.
