whites my issue with heat tape is that its not crossable or you cant get it close to itself, that is what causes fires with that crap at least when I was reading the other ideas about that on here.

So if you do a 10 inch roost board maybe concentrate more heat towards the middle of the board and cooler out towards the edges. Than leave a cool spot on one end.idk 6-10 inches? prol 10
