I like the heat on one side and cooler on the other, making the heat be roost as well?  so using a six in board and a four inch tunnel and wrap all with indoor outdoor carpet?

I wonder if enough heat could get through the board and the carpet.

Cut town tubs in a baking pan with a pee pad in the bottom. It's working great.

two runs of rope is all it needs?  

I may have to play with that. The box they currently sit in only has two wires 4" apart. Dirt is one inch deep over the rope. However the rest of the rope is under the box which is two inches deep of dirt. That amount of rope in that tight of space produces good warmth. Before these chicks I only laid rope on empty cardboard box with a loose fitting top. Randomly ran rope in box and they found their spots each coming back to the same spot. Was concerned about the actual warmth of rope is the reason I went with dirt this time. If you get one or already have one plug it in and hold hand around it. You'll be surprised at the warmth.

Oh okay. Understood. So the duct would be your hot spot and if they got to hot they could scoot forward onto the board part.

just a quick clip it with marker lmao side view.... and wrapped with the plastic indoor outdoor carpet that brushes nice and clean and bleachable as well looks more like a hatchet from some horror flick I know

Thanks for asking... I am almost positive it is broken, but it's not really broken if I don't go to the doctor, right???? I am babying it, and trying to walk without moving it too much.
