Thanks for the info, they are both sweet!    the female was so unhealthy thin and dark colored when we got them, I am so happy they are doing so well!  I dont think they ever had a uv light or much live food or veggies, they devour food!


this is not true sweets, I see tons of posts in the morning and sometimes at night.  I should get on more in the eves so I get to chat with the west coasters a bit too. 

Or I need to move east.

Good morning everyone!!! We have evidence of tapeworms in our laying flock... I used ivermectin on the teenagers a few weeks ago... The hens are either molting, or just starting to. Is it ok for me to treat them now? I used a pea size amount on a piece of bread for the 4 month olds. Any thoughts on how much I should give the big girls? I was planning on eyeballing it to "just a touch more"...

In hatching news, I am waiting for Blue Silveruud eggs from @cree57i - Walli Johnson and J-Bar stock. SO excited!!!

YAY!!! there you are, not yay on the worms but yay your here! I dont think it would hurt them, I would think the tapes are worse, and I am not sure if ivermectin covers tapes or not!! lets see what kat says if she hasnt already!! @gotro17
