You know, this is only the second turkey in my life that I haven't totally messed up. Turned out so well! To think of those poor dry previous turkeys in my life...

I've not done it (or more precisely DW), but my buddy tells me that cooking them upside down makes them juicier...don't know if that's domestic or wild.

Category 2 hurricane Otto just made landfall and is hammering Costa Rica and Nicaragua. Latest hurricane in the Caribbean ever. Strongest November hurricane ever. First hurricane to ever hit Costa Rica in history.
There will be life threatening flash flooding and mudslides.
Luckily for CR, they are on the south side of the eye so they aren't getting as strong of wind as the Nicos.
Also luckily, where it hit is sparsely populated and the swampy wetland area of both countries. There are a lot of volunteers and scientists in the area working with sea turtles and other wildlife.

Saw your earlier post about not being able to serve apple pie with a slice missing.
never had that problem here, I just tell everyone quality control had to approve before I could serve.
