HAPPY CYBER MONDAY! THE DAY THAT WE LAZY PEOPLE CALL "MODERN BLACK FRIDAY"!!

What I don't understand is - I thought Cyber Monday started when people would use the internet connection at work to order online (when home internet was less common or really slow, and pre-smart phones). How many folks only have internet at work now? (Or do I have it wrong...)

Morning all. My coop fairy, chicken/dog sitter went to the Garden Glow with us last night then we went by her house to pick up a parrot cage and bring it here.
While she's here this weekend she's bringing her dog and 2 parrots so she doesn't need to run back home. Today we're going through the morning chicken routine and then Friday, I'll show her the evening routine.
She'll be doing the same for a week in February so we're going to leave the parrot cage here.

That's a great arrangement - I have a chicken sitter, but want to be less dependent on one person. Now that I have chickens, I get anxious thinking about traveling... (I also just hate being away from them.)

Ah... those were the days... Still getting only a couple a day here, hopefully it will pick up soon as the younger ones are done with fowl pox now and the days will get longer again EVENTUALLY...

I also do not know how my week off went by so quickly. Back to work and school today. Thankful that we only have 3 weeks and then another break.

We are also on our countdown to get our puppy! I don't think my daughter could be much more excited about her! We are picking her up on Dec. 16.

Hard to greet newcomers if I'm the only one here.

Shed's been pretty much pre-empted by deer season, at least 'til I get one.
Have 3 more pieces of siding to go on at the very top of the high end, but I'm not comfortable being that far off the ground, on a ladder, trying to maneuver siding & a nail gun at the same time Gotta wait for an extra pair of hands, & they ain't put in an appearance yet.
