I put my kids on Craigslist yesterday. It is hard to believe that they are a month old and will be ready to wean in January. They are too cute, but growing like weeds.

Your poor kids, only a month old and you don't want them anymore.

I'm ok.. had a few rough days/pity party and now my head is back in the game. Doing a little more every day-but mostly one handed. smelly cast is off!! time and therapy will tell if I need a second surgery. Happy birthday Rex, Go get those deer Whites, Hi mc duckling and spider, Shalom Benny, Sally I got a new batch of seramas

@ChickenCanoe Those are the bags at rei that I have been looking at. I am just not sure of the sizes. I planned on going to REI when I met my sister with her half of the cow on the Friday after Thanksgiving so I could get hands on with some things, but they closed all their stores on black Friday. Good for them, but bad for me since I don't live anywhere close and will have to make the five hour trip again. I may just go to Bass Pro in Springfield.

If I had more notice I could have brought you some from REI. I don't think I can get down there tonight, but you still have time.
What do you want to put in the bags? Just a sleeping bag?

Tonight's dinner. Venison heart, mushrooms, onions and fresh duck eggs. Only salt and pepper for the heart, shrooms and onions. Chipotle pepper, salt, tumeric for the eggs.

NO FAN = NEED HIGHER TEMP!

Do you think we should clarify? In that higher temp IF measured at the top of the egg. If someone measures on the floor and they go to 101, the center of the egg will be 102 which I think is way too high, especially if someone's thermometer is off a bit on the low side.

I don't know the brand of skillet I have but it comes in a drawstring mesh bag with a lid with a thermometer in the lid handle and a folding fireproof cover to use for baking.
The lid handle/thermometer unscrews for hiking. I've made pizza and biscuits in it.
The skillet handle folds in and comes with a wooden spatula/spork
I am usually using this stuff out of a canoe so I can carry more but this one is truly backpack worthy.
Using backpack gear allows more room for fishing tackle, cameras, etc..
