i want this bird!!! its so pretty!!
correct placeJust joined BYC tonight and have a candling questions. I just candled an egg at day 14 and didn't see any movement. How can I tell if I lost the chick? Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place still trying to figure out what I'm doing
you could build one
We will be here for you!!Thanks guys, I'll keep you posted but I think we have a dud. I'll get a new incubator and collect some more eggs. Any small incubator recommendation would be greatly appreciated. I really want to hatch some of my girls eggs and now I'm determined to make it happen.
Wow, they are getting big and super cute!
sorryGuess what I found in my doe's pen this morning.![]()
This is how i always startNot that I am advocating drinking, but maybe you should start with a handicap![]()
trollsAre you cooking it or incubating it?
It would be nearly impossible to get embryonic development to go full term on a heat pad. And then you have the humidity issue.
Any idea what the internal egg temperature is sitting on a heat pad with ambient air all around?
Or are you just trolling us?
I tried that but maybe I didn't have enough ice/water, or too much water? But nonetheless it didn't read like it should have. My device is in C, but hey the Hygrometer is accurately spot on!![]()
I am sorry for the loss. At least it is early enough to rebreed if she is OK.

Hopefully you'll be able to rebreed her in a couple weeks.
