@casportponyDo you just put ivermectin in their beak (horse paste)? I have a couple wit poopy buts, but no obvious worms and normal poop.

sorry to be short. I am very sick. on top of my hand I have very bad food poisoning and spiked a temp for the 8th day in a row & not holding anything down and wrist is still bad . set 23 serama egss fwith a bunch under broodies and in the other bators too for new year. Too bad to drive out for my meds-will start them tomorrow. thank God for nurse practitioner friends! Have a good night all and will catch up more later-I'm like 1000 posts behind.

Have you seen their version of "Let it Go" from the movie "Frozen"? I actually quite enjoyed it.
 
I continue to be flummoxed by the number of people on BYC wanting to make their own chicken feed. Apparently to save money or create something more nutritious. Neither of those things are possible at home.

I bought 10 bags of feed at Farm&Home yesterday. All were made by Nutrena.
A 40 lb. bag of scratch was $10.49 and bagged in October.
A 50 lb. bag of 18% all flock pellets manufactured a week ago was 10.29.


The cheapest feed at my local feed store is $22 for a 50lb bag. That is for purina.
