I learned yesterday that my new Llama can jump a four foot plus fence. Who knew. My other two have never done anything like that.

Here we have Exhibit #1 - no way could I handle this, I'm a wreck even with a pretty solid incubator. I'd lose my mind over something like this (and never manage to hatch anything).
I couldn't sleep last night (fog plus near full moon = really bright outside), and had a gut check on the chicken math thing. With the 25 S&G Naked Neck chicks coming this spring, I think I'm going to keep my hatching of my own eggs pretty limited (though I may try to hatch at least some). There's only so much housing I have, and more chickens = more time/work. No ducks or turkeys for the foreseeable future, I think...
(We'll see how long this reasonable attitude lasts... Set your stopwatches...)

I'm not. I know the incident....happened before your grass even sprouted, let alone turned green.
So eat breakfast, then re-evaluate. You just may discover something obvious. When you get right down to it, 99* isn't an automatic death sentence; it may delay the hatch a day...so what?
I was running 99-100 (my Hov-A-Bator's really touchy) the last time around, & mine came 2 days early
I can call you an idjit if you want me to
Have you checked all your wired connections to make sure it's not a loose wire?

Oh, goody.I learned yesterday that my new Llama can jump a four foot plus fence. Who knew. My other two have never done anything like that.

Thanks - I needed that! I had a moderately productive weekend. I always seem to get the most done on Sunday evenings with Monday looming, though. If I had Monday off, I'd probably just end up getting everything done Monday evening instead.![]()

Off the path a bit? I don't think you ever started on the pathOh my!
Hey now!! Don't let my problems discourage others- It's what I get for making it out of dubious materials and going off the beaten path a bit.
