Not at all, it became a bigger issue since the the 1990 when more then a million Jewish came from the crumbling USSR, And they celebrated "Novigod"= new yer much more seriously then we, in Israel.

The most of the working people dont get a day off in it, so it is very hard to celebrate when you have to go ti work or school in the morning.

They are trying now to pas a rule in parlment to make Novigod as a national holiday, time will tell.

"Novigod", "Navidad"

One Hebrew, one Spanish (I think)....interesting.

O no not Hebrew! Russian!

Even more interesting

It came from the word
NOVUS= new in Latin
New, novo, novis, nuevo al derivatives from that word.

Howdy peeps.... I sorry I'm not on much anymore winter really hasn't roared much yet so I've been busy.
Weird lights and outlets in my 4 wheeler barn so far.... So I have somewhere to work on my 4 wheeler and snowmobile.

And yes I've been ice fishing we have a good foot of ice so ice fishing is in full swing..... HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone.... Please be safe tonight if you go out (and even if you don't)

Sweet. I think I've only been ice fishing once.

...
Saddles made larger by low humidity for the first 4 days- Not sure why they kept growing with humidity at 50% for the rest of incubation. Yes, I have two hygrometers in there, and they are both calibrated.
They are Svart Honas.

With saddles, I'm guessing they were shipped.
Could there be hairline cracks? That will make cells grow faster.

I love making homemade butter, especially with raw, grass fed milk

Haven't done it in a while since we stopped drinking milk though.
We quit milk too. Since I quit coffee, we don't have cream in the house either. (couldn't drink coffee without it)
We still do yogurt and kefir.

?

Pipping this late would generally mean a day 22 hatch day, which is not what is aimed for.
Unless, of course, this one is another one of those insanely-fast-pip-to-hatch ones.
I like fast. More vigor.

You should not be worrying to much! If you give them the right temp, and humidity and you turn them there is no reason why the won't hatch, at list a percentage of them.

And now for the multi quote.

@Sally Sunshine@casportpony@Akrnaf2Thanks for the informative scope discussion.

@Chaos18Did the EE make it? Do you have more than three flowers?

@ocapYrs, it is about fifteen minutes away.

@minihorse927@Auroradream26 Beautiful chicks! :celebrate

@meltel I am praying that you feel better soon.

@Fire Ant Farm I hope you find the girls, and your cockerel though his chance with the feathers seems less. :fl.
Yea the EE hatched. I've got 4 flowers that hatched as well.

My hatch that was coinciding with Banty's is turning out poorly :( they all seemed to develop slowly the last week or so of incubation...temp must have been off. Except the one is already out and in the brooder for over 24hrs now...another had internally pip'd and I checked them all before I might lose them (the shell of the one was incredibly hard)... the one insternal pip had rotated over night without breaking the shell anymore and suffocated :( I heard him cheeping too, and thought he's freeing himself that's what the noise was about...I had the puppy in my room last night and dreaded getting up for any reason as it meant potty trip...now I'm kicking myself for being selfish, I coulda saved that chick...another passed as well, it's brain wasn't in its head! And an eye wasn't fully formed plus malshaped beak...how did it make it to hatch day is beyond me. 2 left. One looks small, the other looks right on schedule now... put some Vit E oil on its exposed membrane since its all I have that shouldn't be harmful but keep it moist.

Right back atcha, Jess. I hope you, hubby, & the rug rats enjoy happiness, health, and prosperity in '17 & well beyond. May all your eggs be fertile & all your hatch rates be 100% ( after all, ya never know when I might want some  pure BCM eggs to incubate)

Thank you :)

If you decide that you want some pure BCM eggs, let me know early. I'm not planning to keep my BCM this summer. I need to make cuts and they're my least favorite out there.
