I only got through the kale and anchovy-garlic dressing tonight - collards will be tomorrow. MC, can Duckling help me process the collards? She can use safety scissors and cut fun shapes out of the collard leaves...

Oh, I'm so sorry - whadda drag. :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs Actually, joking aside, it's warmer than I would prefer, just plain weird weather. I went to the garden and the lettuce is BOLTING!!!! Good grief! Only one escapee this AM (a blue copper marans pullet). :he Puppy was so funny - I watched her for a little while this morning and she was pacing all around, it was clear that she needed to lay and had not decided whether she really wanted to do so in the nest box (and would have preferred to do it outside of the paddock). But finally she did lay in the nest, so I have yet one more of her eggs saved to put in the 'bator - she's the only one laying in that coop now, so it's nice to know these are her eggs. The olive eggers' egg was covered in poop today, and I already have about 4 or 5, so I decided against saving that one to set. The R-Com has the marans eggs at a higher humidity, and it is giving me fits, the temperature bounces around way too much for my liking. But I have to deal with it for now, here's hoping the little ones in there will be ok. I finished my cut list, so I'm going to make a salad and scrounge up other stuff for dinner. If I'm still with it, I'll head over to start measuring and cutting 2x2s, 1x2s, and HW cloth to build my brooders. (Not a good idea to use the miter saw when I'm super hungry!) - Ant Farm
I made this for dinner-it's delicious!!!
Some feta cheese and caned Tuna will upgrade it!

Its because I haven't taken my yearly shower yet isn't it?

Nope! :D
