OK, so since I'm generally working on things by myself, I have a rule - if I start to stumble or if I fall down more than once, I'm too hot/cold/tired and I have to stop. It's a safety thing. (Don't judge me - I get a little single minded about tasks sometimes...

)

Building the brooder this afternoon/evening, had to head to Lowes to get a different sized carriage bolt. I stumbled and almost fell in Lowes. So, break time. I also realized I sort of forgot to eat all day, so... maybe it'll be better after that?

The buzzards were out in force today - here's a photo of a lot of them all lined up on a tree in my neighbor's yard. Either the cold led to a thinning of the urban deer herd and they were cleaning up, or it's an ominous sign...

I'm hoping after some food I can go back to work on the brooder, but I'm starting to think I might just be done for the night.

Well, time to start a read back while eating...
