A balmy 13* here.
For the 1st time ever, I found an egg stuck to the bottom of the nest box; had to pry it loose with a knife blade. Bedding ain't quite thick enough in the boxes 'cause they constantly drag it out, creating a bare spot at times. Strange that an egg would freeze in a nest box, though, considering there's always a hen wanting to roost there.
