EEs but they're part game and the parents don't lay well (22 hens outlaid by 6 ducks) so I'll be selling these.

Here are two eggs from my hens that i hatched.the one on the left and right. The middle is from the mom and the dad was cross breed but brown egg layer. And another pic of the two eggs there babys lay.

I thought it was a toad egg that was pipped. It was not it was a Dominique egg.

And I have a baby. A Speckled Sussex!


Above> I have a lone Legbar egg (the blue egg that looks green) I had to play with light and color to get the chick to show without opening the hatcher.
The brown eggs closest to us are toad eggs.

Below you an see the egg it came from and the other SS egg with a chunk out of it.

Above the lower left egg is the pipped Dom egg.
Below is a cropped close up of that egg to show you the pip I saw and confused for a toad egg, Because I like to brag I will tell you I have an excellent Dominique line, I got them from Duane Urch. If you have heard of him.

I am so happy, I hope he is a boy. I need early roosters, hens can be younger and do fine. I also hope he has good barring and color. (so many things I need for him)

I will be placing him in a Chase filled with purple ribbons and purple satin cloth so he can get use to the color purple. I do not want him to be afraid of all the purple ribbons in his future.
