They free range - they barely eat any of the food I put out for them ^.^

Seriously, I spent 20 bucks a month on feed for the birds. That includes 40+ chickens, turkeys, ducks.

The goats eat more than the birds do.

well listen to this crap, yea crap....

four adult dosages of miralax in 36 hours, two ducolax tablets, lotta fluids. NOTHING!!! this am kids mom brings along magnesium stuffs, says giver this... gave four tablespoons and a hot long bath, made it in bath ten minutes and then up and on the pot!!! Thank GOD!!!! she has already missed days and days of school!!!!
Now thats a backup!!! holy crappoli!!! it hadda hurt, I know it did she cried so much

can be sure is easier and I dont need to think of a thousand words if I dunt wunt to!!

Glad it finally got moving.

I don't buy hay for them - I buy grain and cracked corn for the milkers. It makes it so I can control what the milk tastes like for the kids.
It costs more to do it that way. We pick the hay from our hay field. ^.^ LOL

If I didn't feed them grain - they'd be free to feed with the hay. But the grain and cracked corn is also used during milking to train them to hold still while being handled on the milking stand.

And if you feed one - you have to feed them all unless you can keep them separate. Which, we will be doing once we get some new fences put up.

It was cheaper to toss some grain/corn to the other goats while we milk to keep them from going after the grain bucket of the milking goat, then building fences. LOL
