Story time! When I was pregnant with bubba we didn't have food service (Sysco) at the camp. I was making multiple trips a week to SAMs, Walmart, and market basket (local chain) as we ran out of staple foods or I'd forgotten something important. Sometimes I would indulge in a craving and store my own little goodies in the staff fridge/freezer.

On one such occasion I was giving a big lecture on "leave my snacks alone or else" and one of the girls was so giddy she was about to burst. Why? Because I was lecturing them with a pint of ice cream in one hand and a jar of sweet baby gherkins in the other.

Pickles and ice cream. I was pregnant and literally eating pickles and ice cream. BUT I never combined them.
