So it turns out that I actually missed a pip, it pipped on the opposite side I'd marked but in the large end. So there are actually 2 zipping at the moment!!!!! e

I have yet another pip - silly thing has pipped almost exactly at the apex of the large end...

The four chicks are alternating between playing soccer with the eggs in the hatcher and having sudden power naps.

That's a really nice picture almost mirage like. Congratulations on the chicks. It will be fun to see how they grow out.

Another of the "doomed" Marans eggs has just pipped!!! So that leaves only two Marans eggs and one GNHxNN egg that have not pipped so far. We're at the end of Day 20 for me (but it's sort of "early day 21" because I set them at 7:30pm, so I called that day "Day 0".) The five that have hatched are super strong so far.

I want to go to bed (tired), and I'm hoping to wake up to a hatcher full of chicks (I love it when that happens!). But part of me wants to keep watching!!!!

(Dan, it's VERY hard not to be a hatching addict for me... I have another dozen eggs on day 3 right now, and I sorta have another dozen GNH x NN saved "just in case". And I have chicks coming from Dunlap Hatchery in February. Let me know if you figure out a cure - I sure need one!!!)

@Fire Ant Farm Congratulations on the new babies!

It's been about a week and a half now since I had babies hatch and I'm getting antsy again lol. My broody isn't due for another week and a half and my bator eggs still have 2 and 3 weeks! Turkey eggs are starting to roll in too so, until I start getting enough daily to ship fresh, they'll be going in every Friday lol
