My girls are pretty good with bedtime; even the sultans know the drill now.

I never had this problem before the pullets came along, and even they are usually good about going to bed with all the others. I just started driving 8' T-posts today to raise the chicken yard fence up to 6'. When that's done, I have a brand new roll of mesh for over the top. If I lose any more I'll be firing up the incubator a lot sooner than I wanted to.

So over the last 3 days I've discovered that I can not only turn 34 eggs in the same amount of time as 15 but that I can actually turn them faster.

Got s total of 16 chicks out of the 24 eggs that were originally in the bator. And out of those 24 eggs, 16 were fertile, so all the eggs that were fertile hatched!

The 2 huge tan colored chicks are a cross between a BCM/Buff Orpington dad and a RIR mom

And the rest have an EE/Cuckoo Marans dad and moms that are either blue copper marans, black copper marans, EE, cuckoo marans, RIR, or welsummer
