Not cleared yet - not enough light hours int eh day and too many other pressing things to do. But I made a big dent into the part where they took Goodwin. One thing though - I watch the $%@#&*^ tomcat who's been in my yard run under there the other day. He's too smart for me to catch (or to hit with a BB gun).

I am actually considering geese to keep the cats out (goose-owners - is this a reasonable hope?). Either two female American Buffs or maybe, if I can talk myself into it, an American Buff pair.

When something doesn't seem right, and they won't listen to you, then it is time for a second opinion. I would go to your wonderful PCP and explain the situation - you're making me worry that the OT is making it worse and that needs to stop.

We're not all like that. Well, I'm never like that - I'm a pathologist!

As I said - stop OT if it is hurting you in a way that worries you, ask your PCP to fit you ion to speak with him ASAP, and get another opinion. This is ridiculous. It sucks that people who are in pain have to be such advocates for themselves, but it's true. Dealing with a similar situation with one of my family members. Makes you want to (violent act deleted).

It's a long story Kristin. I am at a loss because it is workmans comp. My hand, wrist, arm has been doing this since before the surgery I had to wait 6 weeks to get into the 1 dr that specialized in my injury that everybody referred me to because I refused to see their workmans comp quack that wanted to cut into my good friend (who actually also happens to be a pathologist!) when all she needed was a splint and OT!!!! My arm got really bad one day prior to surgery so I went to employee health (per my boss) They told me I was wasting their time-I wanted to wait to see "the best" so now you have to wait.... The denied me a second opinion because my dr couldnt see me for 2 weeks... I paid for the second opinion myself and he just confirmed I had a good dr and that his treatment plan would be the same and that the xrays didnt show any additional damage. If I was just saying "I'm in pain" and asking for narcotics & it wasnt documented that I have been having these same issues, I could understand them maybe second guessing me. But nobody seems to think that my hand wrist and arm looking and feeling like this is an issue....

Because its not their hand!!! You would think a surgeon who relies on his hands every day would be more sympathetic to another medical professional. but just like everybody else, I'm just another number and if I dont heal like they think I should it counts against their success rate. I just want to know whats wrong and if it can be fixed-not knowing it the worst

Like I said-there are some great Dr's out there. if I can heal, I want to get my DNP to teach grad school or do cardiology but I cant commit to those kinds of loans right now if I have no idea what the future holds...

My geese are great-used to find possums curled up in my duck pen-not since I got the geese! Same with aerial attacks... so much better with them especially on my runners. I may or may not have 8 sebbie/sebbie mixes in the bator now
hide.gif
have to see how many hatch and how many are spoken for if you might be interested) but I love the goosers

I know Mini may want a couple. Liz is on the egg list and Kaj said she wanted some but i'm not sure if they want purebred sebbies or if mixes are ok. I only have 2 purebred sebbie eggs that made it so far and i plan to keep those but the Sebastopol / Dewlap Toulouse mixed breeds are gorgeous too!!! Bill still does not know about them

Yeppers,  If it wasn't for the HUGE fine and  the life sentence for killing the ones in my yard......I would have them on the same compost pile as the ducks..

SSS :hide

No, not really, just oh-so-tempting.....

They probably have GPS trackers and you would have CSI digging up your back garden looking for the body.

:(

I hope so too. Boy you and Sally can commiserate on a lack of answers.

We kind of have been actually:gig  Both kind of disgusted with dr's right now... (no offense to any doctors here). The are so rushed and dont want to listen. everything is so textbook, that when something falls outside the norm and they cant figure it out-they tend to blow it off until it becomes obvious... :(

I think this is a bit harsh though I totally sympathize with the frustration.
Sometimes things are just very tricky to figure out especially as diseases are rarley "textbook", everyone is different and often there are multiple things going on.
