Good morning everyone. Abi- Of COURSE it was the leather couch!

We will go with that.

no hoses, but a hoser or hoosier would be fine

I'm actually tempted to sell one, but I'm using them.
Their not there no here instead own it heir;)
Good morning Chaos, whites, MC, AD, and anyone I missed.

:frow

:plbb

Even when I called the cops for a non-emergency, they got here in just a few minutes.

Well, then it'd be ME in trouble, not them, so whilst it may be faster staying innocent is best. Of course, not if he's trying to kill you, but that's just a murderer, not a hoser or Hoosier.

Lots of very sharp, pointy kitchen knives.
Good morning

Our police rarely respond to anyone, and never when I've called. As for getting a gun, I could have a video of the struggle, and still be arrested.

nahhh the living room

Good Morning Daxi!!

I've seen a horse that lived in a guy's house. Had a bed and teddy bear, and rode in his convertible.

I met a lady who had a pet racoon..... they found it as a baby and raised it up like a cat, on catfood. Apparently, they also raised it around their chickens and other animals, so it didn't eat their pet chickens.

I was suitably impressed. ;o

They are sold as pets around here.

Ok, here's a pick of my first serious incubator. I am going to make a member page (but I'm on my cell right now and too lazy to walk to my computer), and I PROMISE I will update as the hatch progresses and keep everyone up to date! Not starting hatch until February 26.

The wooden box has two computer fans, one for intake and one for blowing out past the heating elements behind that metal grate. DH tells me if one element goes out, another will take over. The thermostat is underneath the egg shelf near the intake fan. The shelf has sides on it so chickies don't fall off. The whole thing is SUPER quiet.
@10AcreChick GREAT!!!!!! just make sure you use some sorta cheap pad with air flow with that wire at hatch
Note: foam grip drawer mat on the wire bottom of incubator on day on day 18 lockdown. A cloth, crinoline, or paper towels could work as well. This ALSO protects the navel, the place where the abdomen closes after surrounding the remains of the yolk, from injury. It also makes cleaning the incubator easier. NO the wire on the incubator bottom should not injure or effect your chicks after they hatch. Dollar store baskets are great to keep hatching chicks separated by breed.

All the cemani eggs are developing!!

Even the ones that were 2-3 weeks old, and the two that sat in a puddle!

The rains have stopped the hen laying though as no eggs for a week.

and come on hen!!!
Help! I've had great success with a still air incubator. I heard using a forced air is even better so I bought one and checked the temperatures to make sure it's working properly and all checks out. But now I'm having a significant drop in hatch success rate. What's going on?? I live in Texas so we don't have too much cold. So, I know that's not the problem. I have noticed that the incubator gets dryer than the other on humidity rate. It gets down to 20 humidity. This time it seems like my air cells are smaller but maybe that's just my opinion. Please, anyone help me know what to do????
@Tashaf
Are you sure your humidity gauges are calibrated? And you lowered temp since its a fan model?
See if this can help..... see the humidity section please!!!

BASICS!!! INCUBATION QUESTIONS w/answers post #15921

Quote: @LittleLakePhil Have you ever tried the lunkerhunts with a salmon egg on them or small fathead dead or alive? Some of them swim really cool in an open circle so you are jiggin in a larger area and get more natural action. I think they have two sizes too.... they are killer for crappie and the bigger ones catch many dif types of fish. Some put am egg in front and then a fathead in back by lips. http://www.lunkerhunt.com/straightup.html

That stinks.... I really like the police here- They're chatty, willing to help, and always available.
