EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

I am hatching my 1st batch and today is day one. The temps are good but humidity is at 70 so I removed the water at around hour 2. But the humidity isn't going down. The humidity where I live is normal. What should I do?
If it doesn't go down in a few hours add dry rice to the channels But ditto to everything else that has been shared

wheel bearing let go?

Thats probably a good idea. You don't seem prepared and that is a lot of perfectly good eggs to waste if you don't think you can get your settings right. Those are several good breakfast, cakes etc that you could use the eggs for or at least get a few dollars for them at a local swap or sale.
you can probably return that thermometer you bought too if you think it is defective or if it doesn't work for you.
