EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Help! What is wrong? It was malpositioned all the way at the other end. I had to assist it most of the hatch. It's very weak, hardly moving. It's chirping every once in a while. Is the bump by the eye just swollen from being in the egg for so long? Or a birth defect? What do I do?

Uh oh, poor thing.... Looks like it's not absorbed all the way either, put some painkiller free neosporin on it. Not sure on the head but Sally should be able to help.

Banti is not being nice.

I was just wondering how you were, and was going to tag you to see how you were doing. I hope you are feeling better.
I'm about over the bronchitis, just in time for the trip.
However, I fell walking home Friday night and in trying to protect my cue stick, I did a two point landing in the road - on my hand and temple. Nice shiner and I thought I broke several bones in my hand and wrist but couldn't get an x-ray till today and it feels much better so I think it is good. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to hold a ski pole by Thursday.

I'm not gonna make holes all over for a spot check

I use a spot check and only have the original 2 holes. The probe is 18 inches long so why would you need holes all over.
You said you wanted to be able to check temp in more than one place. How will you do that with the thermometer you bought without opening the incubator?

You're a big boy, figure it out.
