KIDS ARE EXCITED... we apparently got our "first" turkey egg..... I still suspect it's a chicken egg that's XLARGE... but hubby said he's sure it's just a "Small first turkey" egg.... LOL

oh how cool!!! I wonder when gooserz will lay one!!! I better start keeping an eye out

yeah me too.  they want to send her to a pediatric neuro for her headaches, cant get her in until June, her breath tests for tolerances no openings until MAY!  No wonder kids get so sick with tumors in brain and stuff, they are left to go months before a specialist can start testing!  pathetic!! 

It is awful.

It's criminal that a kid has to endure that (whatever it is) for 6+ weeks with no definitive diagnosis.

Hi whites, yes four plus now, I know just dont know how to deal with this, I want to drop her off at ER and tell them to send her home fixed!!!

Bill went 2 years of high school with excruciating pain, much embarrassment and misdiagnoses multiple times (included being labeled as "drug seeking" when he never asked for a pain pill!) before he ended up in ER and losing 1 1/2 feet of his small intestine before they diagnosed him with Crohns

Stick to your guns if you feel something isn't right. We have to be our own advocates these days.

awwww, you know what sucks is that the really really itty bits that hatch typically dont do very well without alot of care. I get mad because I want healthy little stinks and wont help chicks too much besides being sure they are eating and drinking quality foot and I give pre pro biotics and vits too. I swore I wouldnt let kid keep little little ones, well I let her keep two and they ended up trampled in the grow out pen. Never had that done before but they were very very tiny.

I pulled out my 2 malaysians and put them with the broody. I haven't been able to get one to live past 10 days! I have had trampling issues in the brooder. I've found it best not to keep more than 8 at a time under 1 heat source and sort by size. that has seemed to help the past 2 hatches

I am willing to bet it is a turkey egg. I have 4 in the incubator and have gotten several already this year. They are 6 weeks early here.

Mine are only 3 months old - I wasn't expecting them to start laying until next month or the month after.
