EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

yeah me too.  they want to send her to a pediatric neuro for her headaches, cant get her in until June, her breath tests for tolerances no openings until MAY!  No wonder kids get so sick with tumors in brain and stuff, they are left to go months before a specialist can start testing!  pathetic!!

NO FREAKING WAY!!

Is she vomiting?? Is her balance ok?? @Sally Sunshine
(Personal experience here- Neuro stuff is NOT TO BE IGNORED.)

I would keep pushing to find a specialist to fit her in sooner - this is borderline an emergency. If they make you wait and something is wrong, that MIGHT be fixable if caught early, I would sue the living hell out of them. ^.^

This isn't something that can wait.

It's dark brown compared to the other chickens.

I put it next to a full sized green EE egg, and my RIR's egg. She lays Xlarge eggs.

It's significantly larger and darker than my full sized chicken eggs.
turkey eggs are speckled, so i bet its a double or triple yolker

I have no chickens, that would lay this right now - that's the problem. my red sexlinked ALL just started laying - and their eggs are tiny. Bantam egg size.

None of them are laying dark brown eggs, either. They are all laying light tan eggs that are small.....

So I have no idea where this came from - it was in the turkey nesting boxes. It is speckled sort of - but more of a brown coloration with white speckles, it's just hard to see in that picture.
