Asked on the turkey thread but asking here too. How many hens can a tom turkey handle?

I think I remember that 3-5 was about the max for 1 tom? But I may be wrong.

No-when I was working, Bill & I didn't even have time to cook for ourselves. I researched so many different kinds of dog food because we ran out once and had to feed him something. We found a company called Canidae I think that I was really impressed with on how they made their food with no cross contamination and family owned & operated in the US. Jordan however was not so impressed. To the vet on allergy pills and steroids for a week! We even tried the Hills non prescription version and he even reacts to that! I wouldn't mind trying to make my own dog food except salmon is expensive so I don't know how much we would save. And the fact that with my hand and wrist, I am not to be using or washing sharp, hot or fragile items (all 3 have ended badly

) Bill already has to do enough around here so I don't think he wants to cook or do the extra dishes for the dogs

It's expensive but the dogs are healthy and they all like their food

Some places say 5 is the max, others say up to 10.

My husband does a modified raw food diet - that involves cooking it all. He makes large batches in the croc pot and it just sits in the fridge where he can scoop it into a bowl.

Our teenager has been known to eat the dogs food ^.^

hmmm, i was thinking our gsd was having gluten/grain issues maybe i should look for something corn free
