My temp stayes at 99.5-100.5, bantam chickens, I just figured they always hatched early cause of their breed?

Still a bit early.... Bantams hatch more towards day 19-20, in general.... That's better than LF hatching day 18 tho. Good luck!

UPDATE: on kid and pup

Kiddo is home from children's hospital finally... still pain no answers. Waiting biopsy results and other lab tests and she has other scheduled tests May n June soonest they can schedule. Also some gallbladder pancreas ultrasound like function test needs scheduled. I was told the family doc needs to get the lymes testing and any other parasite checks I want for her. Which I dont get, but whatever at this point! Phage again,

I can never say thank you enough!!! She has barely got out of bed today, she has eaten a pc of bread and an egg gremmy made when she came to help out.

Pup is still on high dose pred and ceph. Her lumps started to break open on her back neck etc. Such a nasty illness !!! Definitely puppy strangles. I am veterycin her open wounds. She is active a bit but no running etc. Joints returned small again.
@h2oratt J, Thank you for all your help with this little sweetness!!

Prayers needed for both of them yet and pray that things get resolved before my own surgery next thurs.

I forget you said it had a fan I think yes? are you certain you are not getting temp flux during the night? and your certain your calibrated? fingers crossed! no internal pips no draw down yet?

Dunno, I didn't sponge, but AC looked ok... Hoping it wasn't that that killed them. 2 looked to be day 24 ish, others closer to hatching
There was mould on a few when opened, I left them much longer than usual coz I was hoping dearly at least one would hatch.

Sally's sunshine: no fluctuations during the night here in Texas it's 60-75 degrees. It's in a room that doesn't have much temperature change.

I would give them time, did you say you had some draw down on a few?


Late hatches can be from low temps and high humidity..... if you dont have any external pips I personally would candle a few and look for drawdown and internals, you have them you should be good! but truly nothing you can do at this point, your time was day 1-18 only other suggestion if the humidity was too high is to lower to 50 until first external pips.... then raise again. but you need to keep a very close eye on them should you lower it
