Just 12 more days until lockdown on my 5 little eggs in my incubator. (3 were infertile when I candled at day 7ish)

Today I got a nice message from the girl I got my goose eggs from checking up on them and giving me tips. Tomorrow I have to go to the grocery store to get them some of their favorite veggies (she gave me a list of "likes and dislikes

) I am happy when I get birds from people who really care about their animals

Oh horrible news. I hate losing animals to something like. She was a pretty girl.

I do too especially when it is freak. It looks like she slipped or was pushed trying to reach parts of the cedar tree. She fell? And her head hot caught in the hog panel that had tin on the outside to block the hogs view when I had them and her body pressed the tin trapping her head. Her front feet were not down so eventually she could not hold herself and breath besides she was at a funny angle. So sad.

I sure did. They went in last night and I started turning this evening. Temp is holding, humidity is manageable. We are good to go. I could only get 11 of the OEGB eggs in the incubator. I tried every which way but loose trying to get that 12 egg in but it was a no go.

Guess I need smaller eggs or a bigger incubator, LOL!

PS: Daxigait, I'm so sorry. I just back read and saw about the loss of your doe. No matter what the circumstances, it's never easy to loose them.

Well, the sad week continues. The doe that lost her kids got her head in the hog panel and strangled herself
I will miss you Eclypse you were the sweetest doe I have had, and you never pushed even for feed. You would come a talking and just want pet. So long gentle girl.
