That is so funny you posted that! The rabbits have a play yard like that in the basement and Bill went out special today because they were out of Timothy Hay

We are in the process of finishing the garage with all shelving units utilizing the cages I have and are going to eventually put them on wheels for outdoor access and make a play area for the seramas. We got some really nice wood shelves cheap but Bill is working 7 days and hasn't had time to build "stuff". I had a really good day today. OT killed my hand-went cold and dead again but other than that just a really nice day

73% of total fertile eggs and 85% of the eggs that made it to lockdown so far, not bad for my second ever hatch and first duck hatch.
great job!

So, pot belly pigs (micro, or otherwise) can take up to 2 months to bond with thier owners. I've been reading up on it, because I thought I traumatized poor sara, trying to pick her up and she squealed like... well... a stuck pig.

This morning, she allowed me to pig her up with less freaking out and bellowing, but she made it clear when she was "done" being held. so I let her go back into the crate. I need to run to TSC, because the *hog* feed I bought, is inappropriate for a micro-pig - which is what she turned out to be, instead of a fullsized pot belly farm pig. I have to go find the feed meant for micro-pot belly pigs, and our local store doesn't have the brand here, so I have to drive to a different location 2x as far away - they say online it's in stock.

The upside, is there's a starbucks up there, so I can get a much needed, and often not acquired, coffee.
Let me know how your micro pig experience goes, please.
