How long should I wait to take a newly hatched chick out of an incubator. We had 2 bantam Cornish hatch at day 16..the temp has remained almost constant at 37.5 and no other chick's have hatched...also these two seem fine

Wait til they're dry

Wishing you all the best, and a speedy recovery, Sally :hugs

If they are dry and you don't see any pips you can take them out quickly. If you toss in a warm, damp paper towel in, that will help get the humidity up quick.

T shirt and short weather here this weekend, High of 37, lows of 15. Midwinter treat!
Critters are doing well, I have been too busy for too long, and just figured it was time to drop in on all the great friends at BYC.
