Citrus peels and add BRIGHT LIGHT!!  Skunks HATE LIGHT! cayenne pepper spray..... yellow onion chopped, and some jalepeño peppers. Mix these with a TBL of cayenne pepper,1/2 gal water boil 20 minutes strain put in a spray bottle.

I certainly sounds like you made the right call based on all the other info you had including eggtopsy. While I don't help out, I think it really depends on the value/importance of the eggs and what you want the chicks for. S/he's cute!!!

How long should I wait to take a newly hatched chick out of an incubator. We had 2 bantam Cornish hatch at day 16..the temp has remained almost constant at 37.5 and no other chick's have hatched...also these two seem fine

Lord, may the Doctors and surgical staff have wisdom, clarity of thought, precision and your guidance. Be with the staff in recover too. Encourage her and her family and provide in clear ways on the things they know and don't know will need done. Provide encouragement, and use it as a time to bring them closer to you. I pray for the best outcome beyond even predicted possibility. I am also praying for rapid progress in her recovery. May you guide and protect her. I also continue to lift up HarmonyAnn for a resolution and healing so this stress may be lifted. As I pray for Sally I am also remembering Meltel. Be at work in and for her too. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine be all glory, honor, and praise. In you may they find peace.

I have still have my silkies, blue auracaunas, and my Black Jersey Giants, and my ducks, not to mention a whole lot of interesting crosses, lol.
We have had some additions on the ponies as well, two beautiful little stallions born just before Christmas.
I am going to have to start to sell off some of our ponies this spring, 9 is about 7 too many for the time I have to spend with them and train them.
Not to mention, my weekends now revolve around cleaning coops, halter/saddle training, and dressing hooves, so time to move some of my pasture pets.

I hope all is well with you Dax, I have been too busy with life events for the last eight months to spend time with all the good people here at BYC.

Good morning. I am upright. I hope to be able to deal with whatever this day brings. I know I have to go down to the breeding pen. They are very low if not out of feed by now. I did check last evening when I went to collect eggs, and give fresh water.
The world is still spinning. I hope re-introducing coffee takes care of that.
