Wrong Khan...
It is much more naked than the regular transylvanian, isn't it?

He's homozygous Na/Na, and so has only tiny wisps of down on his neck - when he's an adult, he'll have maybe one or two feathers there. This is Sweetie, who is also Na/Na:

The others are heterozygous Na/na - more feathers on their necks, and the chest is less bare. Khan's parents, Puppy and Snape, are both Na/na:

Interestingly, if you add the genetics of pea combs to a naked neck, it reduces the feathers, so that a homozygote will have a COMPLETELY smooth neck, and a heterozygote will have just a few on the neck (and look more like a regular homozygote without a pea comb). I want to try this one day...

Fewer feathers. (And I get green eggs as well if I use Ameraucanas.)
It's 2am here. I was just awoken by Snape flapping his wings (it's loud and he's right by my window), followed by crowing. That got Tank and JoJo going next. I was irritated, but it only lasted about 3 minutes. I started to drift off again, but then remembered that the only time I'd ever heard crowing in the middle of the night, a predator was causing problems (that time, when a hen who had decided to spend the night out was being dismantled by a fox). And then I heard rustling outside. I tossed on my clothes and headlamp and headed out to find... two friggin' CATS. One goofing off on my back porch, the other doing heaven knows what in the yard.

I have too much to do tomorrow not to get a good night's sleep.
HATE THOSE CATS!!!!!!!
