I am still a bit worried because of the blood smudges everywhere...but i hope it just heals up.

So much for trying to sleep - the surprise big storm system that took out @kajira
's power just hit here a few minutes ago - holy chit, it's like the friggin' world is ending out there. And I just got a tornado warning on my phone, telling me to take shelter now. Somehow I think it was the wrong day to take that protective wind guard off of the naked neck coop - they are basically roosting in the open air part (like always) and getting pelted right now. At least it's 71F (which is bizarre, and explains the weird weather). 

No wonder I've had a migraine all day with weather like this. I heard something metal and loud. I don't even want to know what this is doing to my roof... I am trying not to think about my chickens, since there's really nothing I can do about it.
