Are there really places in the US Academy that conceal, facts, views and opinions from students???

I hesitate to even called some of our University's academic institutions at all anymore. They have become so one-sided that they don't even want to hear the other side. This comes from the professors and University leadership and is influenced by the left-wing political party. If you don't hold their views your views are somehow inferior and they should not even be considered you are racist, bigoted, homophobic, excetera, excetera, excetera, if you don't swallow the correct philosophy anymore. Much of the current education from grade school all the way up has become indoctrination instead of education. Critical thinking is not taught rather the line to follow.

This is why we homeschool.

The college crap we see these days disgusts me.

I'd almost encourage my kids to go to school over-seas at this point, for college, then do it at home. It's disgusting how they are indoctrinating students.

@Akrnaf2Reasoned intelligent people going to campuses in recent years to present other points of you have experienced attacks and then shouted down so they can't talk pelted with food items just in general treated to totally inappropriate responses because the kids don't want to hear another point of view. They have been taught the other side is so wrong they aren't even willing to hear them anymore. On the other side comedians have stopped wanting to go also because the young people are so extreme they don't seem to even understand humor. I am not stating that Hardwell but several comedians say they will no longer go to university campuses because of the responses of students.
I am voice typing while working so the response is not as well thought-out as I would like. Nor have I proof read it.

The evils of political correctness and misdefined tolerance are killing thought.

I am really sad to hear that! We also have some places in our Media and faculties that have this tendency but the battle is not lost at all! In fact the MAJORITY of ISRAELIS aren't there! The election prove it for the last 20 years!
