I have a close relative of mine that lives in Florida, USA (born in Canada) that detests cold... She turned on the heat last year before I did

She came up here a few years back and wore a sweater the whole time. It never even went below 60°F, was close to 70°F... Rest of us were in short sleeves.

I grew up north of about all of you. I moved south and I have no desire to go very far north not because of the cold really, but because I despise 8 months of winter.

I found she had to be held to be milked, or she freaked out. Hobbling her scared her, but just putting pressure on her butt made her cooperate.

My other goat pumpkin, was similar. She never kicked, if I milked her while leaning over the top of her like this. ;o

Maybe next year! I'll have my purebred nubian male to breed to blueberry. Now that I know she's not infertile.

people around here, eat male baby goats for religious holiday events, so I can sell the boys, most likely.

My daughter's just having a hard time picking which male to keep. I told her we could only keep one.

That can be hard. I send a lot of my boys through the sale barn. They went for $2.70-2.80 a lb last year. I don't know how much you know on goats, but my vet who raises and judges goats said to make sure any male kept for breeding is wide at the hips. Specifically, that if you put your fingers on the top hip bone and side them down and back that they need to get wider to the next set of bones. It is important for future does. I need to go look at a goat anatomy chart for names.

Could you add a side to that thing so you could just push her up against the side and not have to lean over the top?
