Our billy's so far have been fairly "stout" as I like to call them. I'm not keeping any of these babies from my pgymy's though - i'll milk them and sell all the babies, but for the most part, i'm not going to continue breeding pygmies, I don't think. That can be hard. I send a lot of my boys through the sale barn. They went for $2.70-2.80 a lb last year. I don't know how much you know on goats, but my vet who raises and judges goats said to make sure any male kept for breeding is wide at the hips. Specifically, that if you put your fingers on the top hip bone and side them down and back that they need to get wider to the next set of bones. It is important for future does. I need to go look at a goat anatomy chart for names.
Good morning.
I want to get rid of all of them and get strictly nubians/spanish goats after this. Blueberry is a "spanish" goat. (i.e. she's nubian and something else. haha)
