EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

You're just a tad off on the name,

No electricity here.

Whites ether is lighter than air it won't sink into the burrow.
Well, that's what N. Sinatra wrote it as

Everyone's favorite method of incubator sanitation? I'm leaning toward the ammonia solution in the notes. It's a styrobator.

I can pick up something in town tomorrow, but that means I'm not setting eggs in the morning. :/

I just saw an ad for a peppermint spray called Rodent Sheriff.
Because it's basically a peppermint oil spray, it's safe around the house as well as your vegetable garden. I never thought about raccoons hating peppermint.
It's also good on bugs.

I use a mild bleach, worked well for me.

So....Good?
I found this https://www.amazon.com/IncuTurnTM-Automatic-Turner-HovaBator-Incubators/dp/B01C96YJFO/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1488847667&sr=8-14&keywords=automatic+egg+turner

But then I have no way of having the large end up (I'm using string right now)... And it doesn't have many good reviews... :caf

Did you mean how do they "do"? Yes, they do well. In reality (yes, I know there are people on both sides of the fence), ducks aren't much different than chickens when it comes to incubating. They just take a week longer. I've never misted them either.
I would check Tractor Supply or other feed store for a better price right now.
