@kajira I don't really need to worry about milk production. My two does are being milked once a day that have kids on them. One gave me three quarts yesterday, and the other gave 2 quarts. Then I have my new doe that is milking twice a day, but she is a first time freshener and not giving that much.
I am loving my instant pot 7 in 1 after I milk I just dump the milk in and press the button. By the time I finished chores it is done pasteurizing the CAE positive milk and I can use it for everything. It's simply wipes clean with hot soapy water and a cloth along with my milk buckets. It is well worth the cost in time savings, plus I can use that milk for my kids and not need replacer.

No need to apologize. If there are veins and things moving, they are good. If it isn't normal, there's nothing you can do about it.
Just let them do their thing.

Thanks for replying!! I've seen a couple videos on YouTube that look the same as mine but I just wanted to double check. I think I won't worry so much after day 10 when I see them more developed this part just stresses the hell out of me lol

Just make sure they are turned frequently enough the first couple weeks.
Oh, and temperature is important too.

Did you check out the candeling images in the notes section on the first page of this thread?
ChickenCanoe is right that there isn't much you can do, but you might see something that relieves your mind.

I have a egg turner thankfully I was doing it by hand last time and I don't think opening the incubator a lot helped so this time I'm just leaving them to it and adding water every couple of days!! Hopefully I'll get a hatch

That's how my dad and I did it but he put 2 nails in a log in the barn we used as a step to get over a short wall. Then throw them in a burlap sack. I much prefer my homemade killing cone on the post of one of the compost piles.

I guess I missed it. What are you trying to accomplish?

I built a new brooder in my coop underneath the poop boards, but my power outlet is about 6 feet away. I am going to use one of the light strings like Pensmaster uses and want to get them to the brooder. I can either put it through some PVC pipe or electrical conduit, or put some holders along the wall to the brooder. I was just wondering since it generates heat if it would be an issue in the PVC and or on the coop floor or if I should hang the PVC along the wall.

Thanks for posting in there. I wanted to say something why it was a no no, but it came out very rude everytime I typed it. Yours was very informational without sounding like a donkey. My prediction is only one survives the hatch and the other dies within 4 days. I have all I can to do to get perfect eggs to hatch and never set odd, pullet or twins.

Well. just finished talking to the HVAC guy. Looks like the heat exchanger manifold had 3 cracks about an inch long. System wouldn't stay on due to the fact that the fusible link had shorted out(did it's job). The whole inside of the unit is torched and the guy said he'd never seen one that bad that didn't cause a house fire. Luckily it's under warranty so it's only gonna cost the $100 service call and thankfully it wasn't any worse than it could have been.

No I haven't I'll check it out thankyou! The babies in there seem fine I just didn't know if they were in the wrong place. I'll try and get a photo in abit
