You might find this article about egg turning interesting.

OK, I get you. I'm familiar with those. I used them in Central America and some places in Europe.
Not sure how they work but motels here have similar units but much larger. The same thing heats and cools.
I forgot about them. They work better for a single room.

Central heat and air utilize 2 different dedicated units tied to the same duct work system that goes throughout the house or business.

I think that would be better. You'd be wasting some of the generated heat in the conduit. It's better to put all the heat in one spot (like a broody hen) so the chicks can find their comfort zone.
I'm sure you've seen them.

I use those with the reptile emitters.

I also use them in my Ohio brooders for brooding lots of chicks at once.

They are pretty inefficient most of the time and I don't think they last as long since they run year round.

Likely.

I did forget. How could I?
And it is year round.
actually that's helped quite abit as the third photo on the page of the egg is exactly where the embryo is in my eggs at the moment so it's kind of put my mind at ease that they are developing right. Thankyou!!

@Sally Sunshine don't worry about me Sally you just get well the Lord has blessed me. Thanks for the wishes though. Besides you told me pepper and the OE olives are laying that was great news.

@Pensmaster Do you think I can run those lights through a PVC pipe to the brooder in my coop? That would be much easier than trying to hang it somewhere along the wall to the brooder. Cincinnati Outlet is on the opposite wall.

Would that be to protect it? I'm using one under the roost for the hens and the extra just runs along the wall from the outlet

Just helped hubby catch our first rooster to butcher. Once he figures out how to do the two roosters, he'll move on the 4 ducks that needs done.

My power keeps going out, so I am going to say this, then try to find posts I've been quoted in.

I am done with laundry, dishes and household chores!

I have two hours until Duckling makes a mess, but it won't be anything compared to what I dealt with the last few days.
