Hi All! You have been busy the last 24 hours! Runt, I"m sorry about your Grandma. Benny, great videos. I love the trap - I"m going to look for it here in the states.

I have a question - my pile of silkies is sitting on a dozen eggs. When I just checked on them, we are down to 4. 3 decided to leave the pile. I found 2 eggs visible. They were partially on the eggs, but they weren't on them fully. Is that their way of kicking out eggs? These 2 egg were not as warm as my incubator eggs - it's 86 degrees today - so that might explain whey they weren't cold. I shoved them under one of the hens - she pecked at me while I did it.

When your broodies kick out eggs, how far do they kick them?

not a clue

I have a mystery here.
I was sitting at the dining room table on my laptop (reading BYC and actually doing some work) I am having a light lunch of cheese and cold cuts on Triscuits..

The cold cuts are a bologna with jalapenos in it. I had some sliced cheese on the plate with the bologna...

I decided to get a glass of water, I got up went into the kitchen and got the water. I came back and all the cheese is missing from the plate..

The dog is lying on the floor looking all innocent, so I know she did not take it.... I just can't figure out where the cheese went, and why the bologna is still here...

Maybe the house is haunted...

Mine kick them pretty far out, you know they are out, not half way.
