Duckling hasn't slept in her toddler bed in a couple of weeks. With a nauseous stomach, I kept asking if she was sure as I took it apart. As I removed the last screw, I began to cry. So much has happened in the past two years.

I made coffee early (when I posted here earlier), and since one of my "to dos" is to clean out the fridge and freezer, I had a fruit smoothie for breakfast (from old frozen fruit with coconut water and chia seeds). While rooting around for breakfast I discovered a big old cauliflower head in the fridge that was heading south, so I spent a couple hours making soup - trimming away the yucky bits (which I will feed to the red wigglers in the worm bin) and slicing it thin (reserving 1 cup small florets cut into 1/2" pieces). Then I sautéed an onion in butter (with some salt) until soft, and added 1/2 the sliced cauliflower plus all of the sliced stem plus about a quart of water, simmered for 15 minutes, added the rest, and simmered another 15 minutes. Then I stuck it in the blender and pureed it. The 1 cup florets I cooked in a bunch of butter until golden brown (with brown butter) for topping the soup. DELICIOUS!!!!! And it's essentially just cauliflower, onions, and butter and salt. After I finished it, I changed the chick waterers and crashed for a couple hours. Still tired, but need to get up and going, so I just had the soup for lunch with sourdough bread. Now off to do all the chicken chores and other stuff... Sooooooo tired....

I'm sorry Hi CH what up? fish bitin? @MotorcycleChick I just had this conversation with a pup parent lol. YES every 7-10 days to help the "quick" recede! After trimming that little bit of nail you can, within seven days, the quick should have receded enough to allow you to trim off another little bit of nail again and continue the process until the nails are back to a decent length and dont tip tap on the floor, basically they shouldn't touch the floor. SO FREQUENT but GRADUAL and you can get their neat tidy nails back! If you file it you can do it more often.

we had cought five the other day bit water down now.
