Can I give my chicks banana? as a treat?

I hope so I just gave mine four, have other times too, they didnt have heart attacks that I am aware of.

Isn't the peel bad for them? I read that here last year sometime.

Unless someone slips on the peel, I don't think it's being offered as part of the treat.

I've never seen a chicken touch a banana peel.

IMHO, if chickens always have feed available, they won't eat anything they shouldn't - or at least not enough to matter.
On the other hand, they are voracious eaters and will eat something when hungry.
If they were in a building with only a big pile of banana peels, they'd eat them.

All things in moderation.
