What breed of Rooster? I have a cochin - and he even lets an EE roo hang out with his girls with out attacking him. the EE roo respects him though, despite being 2x his size.

Just a mutt I had. The broody at the time was in the coop with the rest. Just didn't work out. I think I salvaged some of the chicks. Too many years ago.

It was a terrible scene. Chicks hens rooster and me every where at once. Comical now that I think about it

They are growing again up by the small pond.

9 of 9 DC that went into lockdown hatched. Super excited about that.
5 of 5 mutts Marans x Project really dark eggs. No special treatment

Setting hen is hatching eggs now. 7 out as of last night.
