Back inside - I was able to get some more good work done, but still more to do. I have to work part of the day tomorrow (was hoping to take the entire day off, but there's a meeting I have to supervise). Hoping I can finish the housing up over the weekend...

(Boy, I'm beat!!!!)

:frow My ankle is much better. Most of the time it is fine, I only have issues with repetitive pressure in things like the kicks where I have to spin 180°on that foot. I can do three or four in a row now, but not more extended practice like thirty seconds of left roundhouses spinning on that ankle. For eight months I couldn't do one hardly so it is improving. They were right that a break would have healed faster that those ligaments. I bought a good pair of trekking poles to use for my trip to provide additional support. I am not sure about them yet, but think they are a good thing.
Have a great day!

Morning All,

Got a final count on the broody last night. 10 out of 12. She had kicked the last 2 eggs to the front of the kennel so I'm assuming she's done with them.

Also think I found a fix for circulation in the bator. Managed to get readings within .5* F top to bottom which seems decent. Alot better than the 30* variance I had top to bottom previuosly. Original fans just weren't able to move enough air. This one is 3 speed and was moving too much air on high, dialed it back and on low it seems about right.

I know it's too hot, wafer is wired in but not set yet. Actually doesnt even have the wafer in it, just the bracket and switch.

Also, Happy Birthday @MotorcycleChick Hope you have a wonderful day.

Not surprisingly, that's what's known as Rotational Grazing, Benny. It was instituted many, many moons ago, in, I believe, New Zealand, for sheep. Works great for grazing animals; not so much for browsers. I tried it several years ago for goats; gave it up.
It works somewhat if you rotate horses, cows, and goats because of the different things they like to eat. At least the goats eat the brush and weeds helping better grasses make it.

Ugh, the janitor at the school unplugged my incubator yesterday afternoon and did not plug it back in.

They were unplugged roughly around 3:30pm, and my daughter went in to check water levels before school and noticed it was cold around 7:30 this morning. Ugh - 16 hours. I know it's possible they survived, hoping for the best. Going to go up and check for movement tonight after work.
