Always stained; just couldn't get bit.
what was to be bitten?

and whatever was whut?
Red/chartruese jig on one rod; white crank bait on the other.

seriously though its early for no live on it no?
Very very seldom use live bait; not for many years. Artificials don't have to be kept alive, replaced after every catch, or bought fresh on the way to the water.

I hear you, but no local creek to throw a trap the day before?

What you going to try?

Just gonna go back to rolling spawn on the bottom.... I'll keep trying to focus this bobber thing out too.

I use both.... But that Berkley Gulp stuff works very well

I don't often plan that far ahead to go fishing. Usually, I go whenever the mood strikes me. Besides, the last time I set a minnow trap I caught a water snake!

I need some advice as soon as possible. I have some 6 weeks old Magpies. I can now tell that I have 1 girl and two boys. I CANNOT keep the boys, but I do not want the girl to be alone. I have some ducklings that I hatched yesterday mostly, but I don't think she will accept them, and she might hurt them. Anyone mixed ducklings varying in age that much? I say I need to know ASAP because I am bringing the new ducklings to a swap tomorrow. I don't think I could do that, but It can't hurt to ask if anyone has done it. What do you think I should do?
