WOW, you were not chittin me were you! Now lets narrow this dream down. Where is the safest place with the best government and healthcare? I have some issues I live with. I have more wants but will get to them later with a shorter list![]()
yup you told us! glad all of yours are ok! my shipped orloffs and AMs look terrible I threw at least half of each out.Well, I can't remember if I told y'all about having to swap out my Isabels for CCL (I think I did) ,but the CCLs are doing great. All 7 eggs are developing. Once again I got very few messed up air cells and all but two fixed themselves after settling. Come on CCLs!
GOOD LUCK beautiful!Morning all!![]()
I candled the eggs Friday evening and saw movement in 6 of them, wasn't sure about the 7th, but I assume it was okay also.
Today is lockdown! Fingers crossed that they are all still alive and that the kids get to see them hatch later this week!
see above?Ok I turned the humity on my Incubator down to 40% then the alam went off when it went to 39%, anything else I need to do?
Hey Run whut up?
Liz, that thing turning?![]()
when did you get a cow!!! did I really miss a post like that? and on FB? what the heck!Got eggs this morning. First time in a month at least! Big one is giant cochin, Mae West. Middle is a mix I got from a feed store three years ago, Herkey, first chicken I ever held. Small I thought was banty cochin, but now I'm thinking maybe guinea? It was under the broody Cinder, who is the guinea's mama. I can't imagine anyone else trying to lay in a broody box when chicks are hatching.
Went out and heard frantic peeping. Cinder was gone, chick was gone. I found Cinder two nests over setting those three eggs. I found the chick out in the run.
It's poor little head was sopping wet from being licked.![]()
