Question,
I have silkie/Ayam Cemani mixes in the incubator. (Yes, strange mix, I know)
I am on day 17, however I just candled, and the eggs look like they are on day 19. Not much space down below either. Only 1 has any empty area on the pointy end. The rest look to be completely full of chick.
I am truly confused! (Yes they are alive and moving)
Using brinsea incubator, turning has been more than adequate, using brinsea spot check(never above 100.5, and never below 99), humidity loss is normal for that of a day 17 egg.
Hmm...
could it just be that the egg was layed by a silkie, and fertilized by a very large bird?
