Morning peeps,

Had some qoutes but lost them so let's see what I can remeber.

Keys--Keys rarely leave the truck ignition. Only exception being if I park somewhere unfamiliar. The van(family vehicle) gets locked even in our drivewway.

House door never gets locked unless we are home or leaving town.

The rooster i thought the fox got a few days ago showed back up yesterday afternoon(missing alot of feathers but otherwise seems fine) MIA for around 48hrs. Hen is still missing but I suspect he went in her defense and she didn't make it back. Interestingly enough I was more upset about losing the rooster. He's a backyard mix but a pretty boy and the only one I kept after processing.

Hmm missing alot of other stuff I wanted to comment on but cant go back at the moment.

Oh yeah the flooding. Good deal on the Dam being repaired, we set a record for the Neuse River when hurricane Mathew came through in Oct. Rainfall front of the week has us projected to be close to the previous record. The shop I work in will likely be flooded again front of next week but time will tell. The lake feeding the river is about an 60 miles away by crows flight so it takes a week or so for the volume of water to make it down here.

House is unlocked here too, except the front door that is know to open itself from time to time.

I'm glad the rooster you like found his way back!

Congrats, that's awesome, I'm sure the kiddos are enjoying it.

And oh yeah spiders. Don't like them at all. More webs than spiders actually, You hit a web and there is a spider somewhere on the other end who is now out to get you for destroying his/her home.

Snakes are higher on the list of don't likes but spiders would be a very close 2nd.

Ugh - I don't like snakes either. There is probably a snake in the storage shed too. We had a snake right beside the house a couple weeks ago. Ugh! I don't like any critters, but especially snakes, LARGE spiders, and cockroaches!
