I need something to hold items on the front and on the side given the size of my backpack as you're not putting a fanny pack too.I'd skip the airline hassle.
How about a fanny pack - or you could use your Admiral hang.![]()

So you tempted the poor chicks all night with a tasty snack they couldn't reach?I'm scared of lightning, so I left it and went inside.![]()
It would be for two legged predators. My 360 that I typically carry as my CC would not be for bears, but the bear spray is effective on people toFor the first I would suggest looking at Duck call lanyards. Might be able to find something that would work.
For the second, ehh it's a tough call. I'm a huge advocate of CC depending on the situation. Depending on what you typically carry I'm not sure how much protection it would provide against a bear(which I suspect is your greatest concern). The debates would go back and forth when I was in Alaska and I never really nailed down where I stood. If your considering personal protection from something else I would say go for it. Last I checked airline process was pretty straight forward and not that complicated.![]()
^.^ ***.... except I don't let people watch my kids. I get neurotic about trusting other people. Ever since my mother in law lost my oldest a couple times at a park/disney land, and left my toddler in the car and I came out of the bathroom and was like *** ARE MY KIDS.... I don't trust people anymore. hahaLOL
Guess what? If I didn't know better, I would think you were Duckling's bio mother. She had a shot, and is waiting for the same day to test.
I have to put my bear spray, knife, water, and other items on something to give me quick or easy access.First, depending on what you want to carry you could find lanyards of some sort or if it's slightly bigger items a less than stylish fanny pack.
Second, I would take it. Depending on what you carry more than likely it'll be useless against a bear but that's what the bear spray is for. Consider the CC as backup or insurance in case SHTF. Should be fairly straightforward and easy with flying with it.

I try to live by a very simple rule:Screw me once, shame on you; screw me twice, shame on me.
Last time I went off into the mountains I used carabiner clips to clip a couple things to the shoulder straps and chest strap of my pack. Knife was on my belt and water was either in a camelbak or in a water bottle on the side of the pack.I have to put my bear spray, knife, water, and other items on something to give me quick access.

It was 100+ degree weather when they left him in the car - had I not been with them, he'd have died. I'll never trust her with my kids in a car again - she's also forgot to use car seats, forgotten to buckle them in the car.Losing a child happens. Not always a good reason for it, but sometimes... As for the car, that is done by her parents too often. As is leaving her in the cart in the middle of an isle while they are an isle over.I found her, and took her. Her father was calm as can be when he found us. It never occurred to him that she had been kidnapped.![]()
